Terms & Conditions - Refund Policy

BUSINESS SERVICES LTD. CAN ACCEPT ORDERS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS:

The booking form is valid when payment is provided by the purchaser (the company).

If the booking form is received 10 working days prior to the commencement of the training programme/ conference  the administrative team within Business Services, will issue a confirmation of booking letter and arrangements for parking, within 7 working days.

If the booking form is received within the 10 working days then the booking will be confirmed either by telephone,  E mail, fax or post dependant on the time available.

Open Programmes
If on receipt of the booking form there is no availability on the programme the Business Services
administration team will advise the client of the fact, advising future dates if possible.

In the event that the programme booked is cancelled by Business Services due to low numbers, the person who signed the booking form, or the delegate from the Company will be contacted by E mail;  telephone or letter/fax and informed of the situation.  The booking fees will be refunded in the event of cancellation of the event itself. 
Otherwise, the booking fee is non-refundable.  If the delegate from the Company fails to attend a scheduled programme/ conference  on which they are booked a substitution can be made at any time prior to the commencement of the programme/conference.  This also applies to payment for exhibition stand/s.

Payment
Unless otherwise stated, invoices must be paid within 30 day of receipt. If payment is not received then Business Services Ltd. will undertake debt recovery.

Special Diets
All catering is organised with options to fulfil the requirements of vegetarians.  However, we can accommodate most dietary requirements if these are indicated to us on booking.

Special Needs
Business Services Ltd particularly welcomes delegates with special needs.  Most buildings have wheelchair access and various other special facilities.  Please indicate your requirements on booking.

Health & Safety
Business Services Ltd will expect all delegates to adhere to the Health & Safety regulations advised on attendance.

Data Protection
The information provided on the booking form will be held on a database to process the confirmation of your place and so that we can keep you up to date with other relevant products and services provided by the University of Central Lancashire.  We do not pass your details on to any companies outside the University group for marketing purposes.  With respect to the Medical Innovation Showcase Conference organised by the Health Tech Hub  information relating to the Elevator Pitches (only) will be shared between the University and  members of the Health Tech Hub steering group.    This is indicated on the elevator pitch application form and firms must agree to this when submitting the form. Please write to Business Services Ltd if you wish your name to be removed from the database.
